This track here is not a song, nor a tune. It is a sound. A sound compiled by satanists in the early 12th century to open a door to hell to willingly given their souls to Lucifer. A sound used in 13th centure Europe during Excorisms to open the gates of hell in order to send the demon within someone back to its origins. This track is a danger to play for when it opens the gates of hell, it allows demons to enter wherever you are. Play at your own risk!!! There are certain “safe” zone where this track will not play at all and these zones are usually holy places such as churches where demons would not dare to lurk.
“Dammit” I swore under my breath. I held my mobile in the air to no avail.
I swore some more and kicked at a bush. It snagged my foot and I tumbled backwards. A rock jutted into my back as I howled in anger; floundering in the dirt. I manged to free my foot-loosing my shoe in the process- and realized my phone had disappeared into the growing shadows. More curses escaped me as I wrestled my shoe out of the bush. I was just about to put it on when I heard a loud CRUNCH.
I froze and tried to peer into the dark. The world stood still for a moment.
Suddenly a man came charging out of the woods; knife in hand.
Everything seemed to happen at once. I was running and screaming; my shoe forgotten. The man was behind me. Branches whipped at my face as I struggled to breath and sob and scream all at the same time. Briefly a thought flitted through my head; this situation had always seemed so ridiculous in the movies, but as I lived it I realized just how pant-shitting it really was.
The ground dropped away from my feet. For a split second I was flying through the air. But gravity caught up with me and I crashed down. Earth and sky spun before me as I half rolled half bounced down the hill.
I came to stop suddenly against a tree. My breath took a while to catch up with my body.
I was alone. Sobbing, lost but alone. I managed to sit up even though my body ached all over.
Just a few feet away a ramshackle cabin stood. I tried to limp towards it. My foot lit up with fiery pain and I collapsed. Blood was soaking through the sock.
I could hear rustling above.
I crawled, dragging myself inch by inch towards the cabin. It’s door was long rotted away and there was a hole in the roof. But it was shelter.
I managed to make it into the doorway before my arms gave away. I lay on the splintery floor sobbing so hard my entire body shook.
A floorboard creaked and I lifted my head.
He was standing in the hallway. He ran his thumb across his knife and smiled at me.
As he drew closer I realized I knew he was. But how?
The blade came crashing down upon me as his name ran through my head- the last thought I would ever think.
